Saamna Slams Shahrukh, Party During Mumbai Blasts, Shivsena, SRK, Indecency, Inhumane, Mumbai News

MUMBAI: Saamna, the Sena mouthpiece, has slammed actor Shah Rukh Khan for hosting a party at his Bandra residence on July 13, when serial bomb blasts ripped through the city.

In a front page report on Sunday, Saamna stated Khan organized the party to commemorate the release of Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara. Stating that Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and other Bollywood personalities attended the Khan do which went on till the wee hours of Thursday morning, the newspaper stated that the party has exposed Khan. "His true face which is that of a villain has come out before the world," the paper remarked.

"Nearly 19 innocent people died in the multiple blasts inMumbai while hundreds of Mumbaikars were injured. Many of them are still battling for life and the city is in a state of shock. Despite this, Khan threw a party on Wednesday night and proved that he has nothing to do with Mumbai's grief," Saamna added.

Pointing out that many Mumbaikars cancelled their anniversary and birthday bashes in the wake of the tragedy that struck Mumbai, the mouthpiece reminded its readers that Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan cancelled a special function hosted by the French government to felicitate her. "However, Khan did not show the decency and the humanity to cancel his party," the newspaper said.

The newspaper added Khan paid lip service to Mumbai by commenting on the blast on Twitter and then threw a party at 'Mannat', his Bandra residence. The Sena daily claimed that Khan has been condemned by his fans across the country.
