"There was no intelligence input to central or state intelligence agency regarding yesterday's blast - it was unfortunate," Home Minister Mr. Chidambaram said at a press conference after visiting the blast sites with Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan.
Home Minister Mr. Chidambaram said the investigators would also keep in mind whether the blasts were aimed at destabilising talks with Pakistan. "Indo-Pakistan talks are on a few days That angle will also be kept in mind."
Mumbai city is in chaos due to the explosion of three powerful bombs during the evening hours on Wednesday. At least 17 civilians died and 141 got injured. Immediately after the blasts, the Home Minister placed the city on high alert. He also confirmed that there was no information to the intelligences about these blasts.
